Grandpa is in trouble...

Last Thursday my dad was taking down the Christmas lights on the upper eves of the house and some how lost his footing and fell off the roof:( He landed on his feet but with one foot on the big tree stump and one foot off. He had gotten his self on the porch but couldn't get in the house because the front door was locked. Russ had just happened to go up there to take the wood splitter back and he found him. He was in so much pain he really couldn't move much but Russ got the truck in the front yard and he got in and he took him to the clinic. They did x-rays and he had broke his pelvis in 3 places. They took him to St.George in the ambulance, they did more x-rays and ct scans and decided he needed surgery. The do not do pelvic surgeries there so they flew him to Salt Lake. On Friday morning Mike drove Colleen up and then Heather, April, Kadence, and I drove up a little later. They had decided that is is inoperable and it will have to heal on it own because it is a stable fracture and set in place. He will hopefully get to come home on Tuesday but only to a rehab center so we are keeping our fingers crossed for that one. He is celebrating his 66th Birthday today so we bought him some birthday treats and a balloon! While we hang out for two days Kadence enjoyed eating grandpas french fries and playing with Grandpa and aunt Heather! Hopefully he will heal fast and get back to his good ole self!!

Our weekend visitors...

We all ways love when Kortney comes to visit! Kortney and Heather came and spent the night since we had a Holiday on Monday! We played just dance 4 made scotcharoos and stayed up way to late! This is how Heather plays just dance, haha! I didn't get any other pictures just a video but is wont work:(

~In between The Scoot and The Crawl~

Our little one is getting closer to crawling! She will get on her knees all the time but it takes much encouragement to crawl. She still prefers to scoot but we have gotten her to do it a couple times... with a  bribe. When I try and make her by moving her knees and arms she just laughs hysterically at me!

She is Legal!

Baylee is 21!!! Wow she is getting old, we had a little party with cake and presents at her house on Sunday and then she had her own fun day at school on her birthday which was Tuesday! No games were planned but they did end up having a pillow fight at the end and I am pretty sure Brant won even though it is was him against Jake, Baylee, and Kortney!

*Basketball*

We don't get to watch Cody play basketball very often because they live and play so far away. They came to Hurricane to play Diamond Ranch Academy this week so we went and watched. We had a great time and it was a great game even if it did go into overtime!

Just some Photos with an Update!

 Just  a little update on the tiny one! She is still not crawling but will get on her knees, she loves sitting in the rocking chair, loves taking a bath and likes watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, she is also been getting a new tooth on the top it has finally poked through but it is still working on coming down! She has been missing her daddy this last while when he has been out of town but she has been lucky enough to get to stay home with him instead of the babysitter while I am at work! She is such a little curious child but we love her!

I finally got some curlers for this little girl of mine! She has done good so far about not pulling them out but once and a while she gets a hold of one!

Happy New Year!

This year for New Years we just stayed home! Cameron's family came over and we played a few games then after we watched the ball drop we went out side and set off some fire works! As 2012 is over we had a great year there is not anything I can find to complain about. We hope 2013 brings lots of new and fun things for our family!

Eight Months!

 Our little sweetie is growing and learning fast! *She has got quite the attitude and knows how to show it. *She is getting closer to crawling but refuses. *She has mastered going from her tummy to her butt even if it means crawling backwards, she hates her tummy at times. *She still only has 2 teeth. *You can make her laugh super hard if she is tired or when you crinkle paper for the fire! *She finally eats most all baby food as long as it is something mixed, she will not eat plain apples, bananas, peas or things like that. *She is pretty much on formula only, except one feeding a day. *She is still a good car rider. *She still sleeps from 10 or 10:30 till 9 or 9:30 every night. *Her hair is getting more blonde everyday and getting longer, which is a pain because she loves pulling it when she is mad or tired. *She loves when dad rocks her to sleep. *She still gets sad really easy. *She is really good at clapping her hands. *She loves the ipad and wishes we would let her have at it! *She plays with any cords she can get her hands on. *She likes the dogs, when we let them out of their pen they go crazy and so does she! *The only real people food she will eat are french fries, she wont chew them she just sucks the life out of them! *She will be perfectly happy then turn mad as you can see below, haha! We love our little love bug and can't wait to see what new things she will learn next.
