She would have been 62 this year. And it is still hard to believe that she is gone. I often wonder what things would be like compared to now. How much my kids would love here and always want to be with her, and how much different my life would be in general! We went out to the cemetery and set off sky lanterns to heaven. When I got them from a lady here in town I figured they would just be the normal shape but we were surprised and they were all hearts! Happy Birthday mom!

~Halloween, and Pumpkin Painting~
We had some dang cute trick-or-treaters at our house! The kids couldn't wait to go trick-or-treating. Breklyn was the best at saying trick-or-treat and Kadence just smiled and said thank you. We had a pretty little Cinderella and a cute little Mouse Gus Gus!
Cameron turns 29!
Unlike me getting a windmill for my Birthday all Kadence wanted to her dad was a Dr Pepper and a candy bar! That's it mom nothing else! So we got a few things and made him a fun cake, and he was totally happy with it!
A Little Family Get Away
We decided to take the kids on a little family get away. I had it planned for a few months and the kids new nothing about it. It was hard to secretly pack and get ready but we did it! We left on a Thursday and Kadence just thought her dad was taking us on a date to get pizza. When we got in the car to leave she wondered why we had all the luggage and I told her it was blankets for a picnic! We got our pizza in Cedar and went to the park to eat it, she asked why we didn't need the blankets and I just had to make up an excuse. The next stop was to go to Beaver to get cheese. She had no idea what we were doing and it never even dawned on her that we were up north until we got to the condo. Once we started asking her questions she got all embarrassed because she didn't know why we were there! We got up Friday and went to the Zoo. Both kids had kind of started getting a head cold but they were troopers. We enjoyed the Zoo and then that evening we went and found another park to play at. We finished the day at AppleBees, because Kadence got to choose! On Saturday we got up and Headed to Lagoon! We didn't waste anytime and dove right into the rides. Around 3:00 Craig and Kayla along with their kids met us there to have fun. We rode rides all night and finally left about 10:15. All the kids were completely worn out. Breklyn fell asleep on the last ride and as soon as we got off Kadence got in the stroller and fell asleep! Apparently 10 and a half hours was enough play time for them! On Sunday we just packet upi and headed home. We let the kids play at one last park before leaving and then made the drive home. It was so fun to see friends and have a little time to ourselves!
Wood Getting
Most Saturdays around here have been spent getting wood. The kids and I don't usually go because it is more work to take care of them out there than it is at home. One of the times we went out separate and seen them, it was also the weekend of cow camp so we rode in to see them. It was a fun little Saturday out in the woods!
