Sunday morning when the kids finally woke up it was just like Christmas! I waited until Sunday to have the Easter bunny come even though we need to think about and remember the true meaning of Easter. I asked Kadence if she knew why we had Easter and she says "Maybe for Candy!" I said what about Jesus and she tried to tell me something, so I explained and then every person she talked to she had to tell them why we really have Easter, Her response is "Because Jesus died and came back to life!" She also kind of thinks he is dead now because she associates it with Heaven but she gets it for the most part! They were thrilled with everything they got and can hardly wait to try out the squirt guns and water balloons! They were very excited about their new dresses and even did good for the most part letting me take a picture of them. We went to church and then why they were napping the Easter bunny hid all the eggs they colored outside and boy did they think that was fun! We just spent the rest of the day with family and hanging out! Happy Easter and remember why we have Easter! I am very thankful for the Easter time and having the knowledge of the Gospel in my life. I am thankful he died for us and took our sins for his own. I am thankful because of him I can live with my family forever and see my wonderful mom again someday too!

Easter! (part 1)
We started our Easter celebrations on Saturday morning! We went to the Easter egg hunt at the park and the kids got a ton of candy! We also completely froze our buts off! It was so cold Breklyn wouldn't even pick anything up so Cameron just held her why she cried. As soon as we were finished we headed to Hurricane to Grannys to visit and do another Egg hunt! This one miss Breklyn was very into and had to empty her basket 2 times to get more, and Kadence did to! We had fun hanging out, playing and visiting. After that we had to go to a wedding in St.George for Rons niece, Mello. It was outside and it had been so windy all day but it ended up being really nice and a wonderful after noon! We ended the day with a game of bowling and then headed home!
Coloring Easter Eggs
We tried a new approch to coloring Easter eggs this year! Instead of just doing it how we usually do we used whipped cream and colors! They were a little hard for the kids to do but Kadence did it and loved licking her fingers! They were a marbled look and turned out pretty good if you ask me!
