Weekend Review and A Mini Vacation!

To start our weekend we went to Makinzie's softball game in St. george had a amazing dinner at Texas Road house! Then on Saturday morning we got up and went to Provo. Ron's brother Paul does cowboy poetry and was asked to come to BYU and recite it while the dancers danced! It was a little different than I expected but it was really fun and worth the drive. Heather went with us to tend Kadence while we went because babies were not aloud. After the show we went to The Olive Garden for dinner then back to the hotel to swim! This was only the second time Kadence has been swimming. It took her about ten minutes and then she had a blast and loved splashing everyone! After swimming for a while we went and did a little shopping then got some ice cream from the DQ!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from our house to yours! We were lucky Kadence had one green dress in her closet to wear for the day! Her dad even wore his green tie to match but of course he would not let me take his picture!

~Spring Break Day 6~

Our last day of spring break we tried to make the most of it! We had to take Kortney back home even though we wish she could have stayed. We picked Heather up, went to lunch at Iggy's, did a little shopping went to Durango's for dinner with a bunch of family and to end the night we went to Makinzie's play at the community center, 12 Dancing Princesses!

~Spring Break day 3~

A day of shopping, and we picked up a visitor for the rest of the week! We had an amazing lunch at the Olive Garden, Shopped for couple hours, which seemed like all day long and finally made it home. To end the day we went on a bike ride and wore ourselves out and had some good pizza and breadsticks for dinner!

~Spring Break Day 1 and 2~

Our Spring break so far has been pretty low key. The first day we went on a couple of walks and just played at the house. The the second day we played went on a walk, went to grandma Trina's and then when dad got home from work we all went on a good bike ride for the second time since Christmas since it was nice enough weather. Kadence loved riding in her trailer and she didn't even fall asleep! Hopefully the rest of our week will be a little more exciting!

Oh yeah!

So mommy actually did Kadence's hair! Haha well she got her hair braided for the first time! And the next day she got some pig tails! Oh we love when she doesn't look homeless!!!!

Watch out wolves the tigers might eat you...

Last week we went to Hurricane to watch Makinzie's first softball game playing for the Hurricane Tigers! This last year at Enterprise she got cut from the team and still no one really knows why. I just found it really odd that she went to a bigger school, tried out and made the team after even having a whole year off. She played the whole game and plays 3rd base, she must be kind of good right?!?! She did very well and got a couple small hits. We hope to make it to a few more for some fun! Good job Kinzie, we love you!

A Heavy Heart...And a Lot of Love

One of Cameron's co-workers, friends and one of our classmates passed away on the 26th. Cameron came home early in the morning on Wednesday, and I normally don't wake up but I did this time. The first thing he said to me was "We had an accident tonight." And then proceeded to tell me what happened. I am so thankful he was there with Daniel to try and save his life. When he told me it happened at 10:30 that night my first though was, "Why didn't you call me?" Then I though, as he told me because he wanted me to be able to sleep and not worry. He is all ways looking out for me. That morning once we finally got a little sleep we had Ron come over before work and he gave Cameron an amazing blessing. It was so powerful and strong that we both felt comfort and peace by the time he finished. I don't think I could ever go through something like that. I know it will be a rough while getting through all of it and I know Cameron will never forget any of it. He is such an amazing and strong man and I am so thankful for him and all he does. I can not even imagine what I would ever do if something like that would happen to us. Going through it with my mom was hard enough. I am so thankful for the plan of salvation and eternal families. Lacey is a strong, beautiful women and I know she will work through all of the pain, especially with those two beautiful girls and special one one the way, right by her side. Cameron was asked to be a casket bearer along with two other coworkers, which was such an honor to us, we love you so much Jason and we will miss you!
