Breklyns first bath!

Her umbilical cord fell off on Saturday the 21st. So she got to have her first real bath! She didn't hate it but she didn't love it either, she loves getting just her hair washed but not the entire bath ordeal!

The BIG Sister...

Oh the big sister! She is for sure in her terrible 2's! She can be super naughty but she can also be super sweet. I asked her if I could take her picture because she looked pretty for church and this is what I got!

Oh my special child!

She is also still in love with her monkey and her new "B" this girl still loves her blankets!

~1 Week~

Breklyn is 1 week old! She still doesn't have a good routine, but we are working on it. She is a pretty good at nursing, but horrible at burping! She is defiantly different for her sister. She actually poops like a baby should, all the time, haha! She sneezes a ton and seems to get the hiccups quit often. Dr. Cain was out of town for her 2 week appointment so he had us come early. At 4 days old she had only lost an ounce and when we went back at 8 days she had gained 6! So she was 7lbs 5oz. and 20 inches long! She did fabulous with her testing and didn't even flinch getting all her blood drawn! We love you baby sister and are so glad you are finally here!

*Fathers Day*

Kadence was so excited to give Cameron his presents for Father's Day! She couldn't even let him open them! We got him a tie, a little plaque, and a 0 gravity chair! We are so thankful for all the daddy's in our lives and are so glad they all had a great Father's Day! Thank you for everything you do for us and can't even explain how much we love you!

Sisterly Love!

I couldn't decide how Kadence was going to do with really having baby sister here but so far she has done great! She has to give her a 1,000 hugs and kisses every day along with getting in her face and telling her "Hi Breklyn" every time you turn around! She has some what gotten over all ways wanting to hold her, thank heavens! She does have to lay next to her on the floor and give her the binky if she cries. So far she has been great but is getting a little jealous when I feed her by wanting on my lap so we resort to the foot of the chair and she lays by me! She has only picked her up twice and we are hoping that will not happen anymore!

~Breklyn Belle Bliss~

Little miss Breklyn made her debut on June 12, 2014! Weighing in at 7lbs 0oz, and 19 1/2inches long, at 4:07am! Originally I was just going to wait and go into labor like last time but Heather really wanted to see her before she moved to Arizona so at my 39 week appointment we discussed being induced and my Dr was not against it completely! So he set the date for Thursday the 12th because he was leaving for meeting and would not be therein Friday or Saturday. Tuesday night I got a text from him asking if I would be apposed to coming in Wednesday night instead and I just said what ever he wanted to do I was fine with! So finally on Wednesday night at 10:00 he had been texting me and all of a sudden he says ok they just delivered one and are calling you so come on down! Luckily Baylee was with us and Brant was not home so she just stayed with Kadence for the night and off we went! We got there just after 11:00pm and got all checked in. I was dilated to a 3 when I got there and my progression went a little slow because they can't just give you full force Pitocin! Dr Cain came in and broke my water about 1:00 and I was at a 4 and they would check me every hour. The next time they shocked me I was a 5+ and at that point I decided to get the epidural so I could try and sleep in comfort a little! The next hour I was a 7+ and from that point on i could feel each contraction slightly so I think I was ready in about 15 minutes but didn't dare make them check me again so I just waited it out for about 45 minutes. When she came back I was a 10 and ready to go! Dr. Cain came in and got ready and when the nurse asked if he wanted a stool he said no it will be one push and done, and looked at me and said do you think you can do it? I said sure lets do it! So one push later she was born! She looked a lot like Kadence just less hair and she has more of my looks. She wasn't as chubby but she has the same crease in her nose and the same crooked toe as her sister and grandma Susy!  She was some what an unhappy baby the first hour or so. She had lots of fluid and what not in her and needed to burn a lot! Once we got all that out she was as happy as can be! Since they were a little busy we stayed in LD for a couple hours then made our way up stairs. We got a little bit of rest and then had Trina bring Kadence down to meet her sister! Granny, Grandpa Dennis, and Heather came to visit and then Kadence, Trina, Ron, and Riley made it! Kadence was a little unsure of what was going on for the first minute till I convinced her to set with me. Breklyn brought her a gift that she still loves! A new "soft" blanket, a monkey and a tiny blanket! As soon as she got that opened she insisted on holding sister by saying, "Hold it, lap"! She held,  hugged and kissed her all day! They stayed about and hour then Cameron went with them to get some lunch why I showered. Once they came back Kadence brought me some treats and flowers! And she stayed at there with us till about 6. The only other visitors we had were Uncle Rick and Aunt Karen, and Colleen and Tanzee. Since she was born so early I the morning we stayed that night and came home the next day around 11. As far as labor for me I felt about the same as last time other than I had more back pain from the epidural and my bottom hurt if I stayed in bed to long!

Swimming the Little Dare Devil!

Kadence has all ways loved to swim but the last few times she had become a complete dare devil! she wants to jump in! The first time I didn't dare let her go all the way under because I didn't want her to freak out! So a few days later I braved up and let her with her arm floaties! She could care less about getting water in her eyes or anything else and we finally kind of convinced her to keep her eyes and mouth closed! Since Aunt Heather has moved we only have one more chance to go swimming so hopefully we can make it!

Oh and that nose???? Face met rocks at the end of the slide! Poor kid.
