Elf on the Shelf

Ever since my kids learned about the Elf on the shelf at the babysitters house they have been asking when one was going to come to our house. I really didn't want to do it but we did. Our elf showed up in a big box with pajamas and a book about herself. The kids were beyond excited, Kadence named her Heart and Breklyn called her Buddy.

Santa round number 2

We decided to try Santa again at our ward party! The best Santa ever was there, of course the kids were still not having it but we did succeed in having Kadence actually tell him what she wanted not just Breklyn! 

2 of the Greatest

While shopping on Friday I got a call from my Uncle Darel saying there were here and wanted to see us! I was shocked because I had no idea they were even coming and it had been 3 years since I had seen my Uncle Raymond and 6 years since I had seen my Uncle Darel! We enjoyed a great night of visiting and catching up because they were heading home the next morning, 

Black Friday Shopping

It has been many years since I went black Friday shopping but I was talked into it this year. We left Friday morning at 5am. April, Trina, Heidi ,and Riley all rode down with me. We hit a few places and then met up with Lashel, Anita and Lauraine for breakfast at the Black bear diner. After breakfast Lashel came with us and we shopped and shopped! our plan was to be home by about 1 or 2 but didn't make it there until 4 all most 5! It was a fun day with everyone with lots of laughs!

The Day of Thanks

This year we enjoyed Thanksgiving at my dads house. Aprils family, Russ' family and Cj's Family came as well. It was fun to just hang out and eat! We started off the day with April and I running our of gas taking the noodles to get cooked! so of course we had to be rescued by dad! We made it and all was well! I am forever great-full to have family close by and that we get to spend time together often!

First Visit with Santa

We made a trip to the Jubilee of Trees, and to visit Santa. Our visit this year was a little better than last. No body cried!! Kadence wouldn't talk to him and Breklyn gave him a high five and knuckles, and told him what they both wanted! We checked out all the pretty trees and had a great time!

A good snow!

We finally got a good snow! And these little girls could not wait to play in it! We built 2 snow men, Kadence even built her own! Made a few snow angels and called it a day!
